First Look: Bloch Stretch Pointe

Hey everyone!
So we just got in two new pointe shoes from Bloch - the Eurostretch and the Dramatica. Both shoes feature a stretch fabric heel that allows the shoe to hug the dancer's foot while on pointe. This decreases bunching and keeps in mind the fact that the dancer's foot gets smaller while standing on pointe. The outer split sole is supportive while allowing the fabric to stretch.

The Eurostretch  has a last similar in function to the Bloch European Balance.

The Dramatica has a last similar to the Bloch Alpha and also features TMT paste for a longer lasting, moldable box.
In our opinion, the Dramatica is also very similar in shape to the Capezio Tiffany and the Freed Studio. The Dramatica is just a bit of a softer, more broken in, feeling shoe. If you wear either the Tiffany or Studio and want a softer shoe you may want to give this one a try.

Here in the office, we've given them a quick try and so far we love them! We have different foot shapes and find that the shoe fits us wonderfully. Check out the pictures below for our foot comparisons.

We would love to hear feedback from any dancers who have tried these new Bloch shoes.

  1. Hi there! In the picture on the right (tapered toe) are you wearing the Eurostretch or Dramatica? Your foot configuration looks very similar to mine. I've been fitted in the Eurostretch, but I get the suspicion that as the shoe starts to soften my toes will sink in the broader box.

  2. Hi Mel! I am wearing the Dramatica on the right. I found that even right out of the box I sank in the Eurostretch quite a bit. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions. xo Liz
